It has been a ride, a wonderful one filled with many challenges. I am turning 29 this year! I truly cannot believe it. I am almost 30, 30! I was 20 going on 21 when I discovered sugaring.
After my bad break up in 2018, I dove head first into doing me. This saw me move into a new role last year March and get some professional qualifications. I have been single, no sugaring for a very long time. I took stock of a few things (new year etc) and realised I have not been intimate with anyone (not even a kiss – wow) in 16 months! Heart break will have go celibate without intending to. LOL 
I am in a good space now, life is calm, work is good (challenging as I left my job at the law firm to go in-house and man is that some change!) and I am good. I even got featured on a local business magazine early last year which was weird, but not weird in a bad way. Weird, because I am reminded that I am really doing this life thing now hey.
Since this is a sugaring blog – I will note the following:
I am still in contact with Mr App, Mr Spontaneous, Oga and the last pot (I don’t recall giving him a name) – no sugar though just plain catch ups where they sometimes text or call or we do dinner when they are in town. Oga sponsored a shopping spree last year which was much needed, we did not get to catch up since he had to cancel our dinner plans for whatever emergency he had. Mr App helped me finalise the professional qualifications. Mr Spontaneous is happy I have into his professional field so yeah.
Again, you always want to part ways on a good note with your SDs because years later – I can say without a doubt that they have my back. Also, I legit have no regrets about the sugaring experiences, I had fun, I was happy – I still say:
I might be going to Brussels mid year to kick start my birthday celebrations by visiting Mr Spontaneous. That is still up in the air so who knows? One thing I do know is that I am doing a birthday getaway and right now it will be solo – unless things change.
Naturally, the desire or drive to sugar is not there as my focus is 100% on my career and making professional moves. PLUS – I am enjoying this stage of my life. I am definitely selfish about my time, who I spend it with and what I do with it. My health and fitness have also been my focus for the past couple of months, I have shed 10kgs (approx 22 pounds) during that time. This stage of my life feels good.
I am at that age where everyone is either getting knocked up, engaged, or getting married, or changing cities or even leaving the country. I want to leave the country after two years – not sure where I want to go exactly. It will most likely be within my current company as it has opportunity for growth and is a multinational. I am currently learning French & German – by that I mean I relying on uncle Self Teach with aunts Youtube and Google.
